We had a very successful all belt promotion on Friday and Saturday. It was wonderful to see how our students have progressed in martial arts skills as well as their mental discipline and physical strength. From white belt to black belt our members made all of us proud.
Our members performed so well it is exciting to know future promotions will be just as successful. Huzzah!
There are way too many names to list them all however we are announcing the names of the members that were awarded black belt rank.
We have great new black belts (Shodan Ho) to join the senpai ranks.
Chat Dasari, Darren Chan, Will Lavanakul, David Williams, Meredith Williams, Hannah Mauricio, Lindsay Ly, Elisabeth Balicanta.
Certified Shodan, 1st degree black belts are Nirvana Kalinic, Denise Fisher, Rushin Vipani and Vincent Egawa.
We have three new Nidan, 2nd degree black belts; Natalie Roe, Cindy Nitta and Michael McCann.
Jonathan Chin was promoted to Sandan, 3rd degree black belt and the title of Sensei.

We had a great showing on Saturday in Sacramento. The IKF hosted over 300 competitors from all over California. Competition was tough but our team did their very best in all events.
We know all the families are very proud of their athletes and our dojo. Keep up the hard work because we have another important competition in Sacramento in August.

The AABBA had a great fund-raising dojo tournament Sunday with everyone being a winner. There were over 100 athletes who helped us raise funds for our Elite Team upcoming tournaments in 2011.
We know it was a great learning experience for many of our children. We are proud of all the competitors doing their best in kata, sparring. weapons and team kata events.
Thanks again for a great job Dave!!
We had a great turnout of volunteers, officials and scorekeepers.
Thank you for your professionalism and dedication. The kids and parents were glad you were there.
Our officials and volunteers are especially grateful for the delicious lunch prepared by our Elite Team Moms. It was truly an international smorgasbord.
