Back to School Pool Party

The dojo tournament held last Saturday was a great success.    We had over 90 members competing with one another and everyone winning medals.  Children and adults all performed at their best and we are very proud of all of you.   We will have photos posted to our website in the next few days.

July 4th Fireworks Booth

We will be having our annual fundraiser by selling fireworks in the Orchard Supply parking lot on Dublin Blvd.    Sign up sheet will be available soon.

We all showed great effort demonstrated by our new and senior black belts going for a higher black belt rank.

Our four new lady black belts all promoted to Shodan-ho, 1st degree black belt are as follows; Innessa Kulikova, Nilam Patel, Natalie Roe and Cynthia Nitta.

Four of our senior black belt were promoted to a higher rank. Elise Marshall, 2nd Dan, Daniel Reddell, 4th Dan, Yong Hultin, 4th Dan, Douglas Lee, 4th Dan.

CONGRATULATIONS to all of you for a great effort preparing for the examination!!

Promotion Days are this Friday at 5PM and Saturday at 10AM.

2/23/08 Promotion Seminar Training for purple stripe belt members and up should sign up for the seminar starting this week. The seminar starts 12:30 to 2 PM. All participants must be picked up by 2:30PM.

March 15th is our annual St Patrick’s Day parade in Dublin.  If you plan on attending you must sign up in advance.  We will have a dojo pizza party for all members that participated in the parade.

Black Belt candidates for the April exam should attend the Promotion seminar.  Also we are giving semi-private lessons for those candidates that attend the seminar. Please have a bunkai partner selected and have them attend the lesson with you.

Hello Members, Our first advanced beginner class last night (1/2/08) was a great success with lots of blue belts. Let’s get our orange stripers in there also. Sensei Yong will instruct the 6PM class and the 7PM Elite Team practice this Friday (1/4/08) while Shihan Hultin is attending a seminar in Anaheim. Special Training (Shugyo) class next Tuesday (1/8/08) for purple belts and above from 7PM to 8:30PM. Kick off the new year with a great clas. Yudansha Kai class Friday 1/11/08. Yuba City Karate Tournament is coming up (2/17/08) so we will need to get your forms completed and turned in to Sensei Yong.

We will have have a new class schedule effective January 1, 2008.

Kenshin Weapons on Wednesday at 6PM will be moved to Monday at 6:30 PM.

New Class for Advanced Beginners  (orange stripe to purple stripe belts) will now be on Wednesday, 6 to 6:45 PM.  This will give more class time to our white, yellow and orange belts on Tuesday/Thursday at 6PM.
